MKD Law provided full-scale legal service to Singular, an established brand in the iGaming industry, in undergoing authorization and obtaining permits for the provision of games.

The regulatory framework of gambling was significantly amended in 2020. As part of the changes, the provision of substantial products/services for gaming has been regulated. Moreover, the updated law now requires the companies to be first authorized in order to seek a permit. Process of authorization is conducted by a person selected by the Revenue Service of Georgia – a subsidiary of the Maltese company Random Systems International.  

Upon the recent substantial changes to the gambling-related regulations and administrative structure, this was the first case when a provider of games – aggregator company - obtained the relevant permit and now ensures the supply of the games to the largest player of the Georgian gambling market.
