David Dzidziguri, a senior partner at MKD Law, has a very broad corporate practice, advising clients on acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and other key corporate transactions. He has led teams on a wide range of matters covering industries and sectors as diverse as oil and gas, infrastructure, banking, insurance, retail, pharmaceutical, hospitality and telecommunications.

Some highlights of his work include advising the largest Kazakh gas transportation and supply company, KazTransGaz, on Georgian legal matters related to investment arbitration; representing and defending the interests of a foreign investor in the recognition and enforcement of a foreign court judgment in Georgia; leading A&D Pharma Holdings NV’s entry into the local market by setting up a Georgian corporate vehicle and obtaining Special Trade Company status, creating a local hub for the further re-exportation of goods; advising Eurodrug Laboratories Ltd. on establishing a legal presence in Georgia; assisting Wolt, a delivery company, on the legal ramifications of their entry and activity on the Georgian market; representing a large foreign producer of beverages and snacks on IP-related matters; advising a Swiss pharmaceutical company, Acino Pharma AG, on the legal implications of establishing a new company and a representative office in Georgia; and advising GlaxoSmithKline Export Ltd. on various aspects of operations in Georgia, ranging from employment issues to day-to-day corporate matters.
