Natalia Babakishvili is a banking and finance Senior Associate with far-ranging experience of bilateral and syndicated debt facilities. Within project finance, she has advised on cross-border financings for both lenders and borrowers, and her practice also includes advising on capital market transactions, cross-border private M&A transactions as well as general corporate and commercial transactions. 

Natalia has helped to advise the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Finance Corporation on financing the construction of Tbilisi International Airport and Batumi International Airport; the Bank of New York Mellon in connection with an IPO by TBC Bank in the form of Global Depositary Receipts on the London Stock Exchange; and Société Générale SA in the sale of all its shares in a major Georgian commercial bank.

She also advised on the first-ever Georgian lari bond issue by an international financial institution (EBRD), the first publicly listed deal by an international issuer (EBRD) in the domestic bond market, and the inaugural Georgian lari bond issue through the Georgian Securities Settlement System (GSSS) by the Asian Development Bank. 

Natalia also spent two months with Salans LLP, an international law firm, on a secondment that has greatly enriched her experience of cross-border transactions.
