Mgaloblishvili, Kipiani, Dzidziguri (MKD) acted as facilitator and speaker at legal training held by Mrs Cherie Blair and Omnia Strategy LLP in Tbilisi
Mgaloblishvili Kipiani Dzidziguri (MKD) was delighted to participate in and facilitate the organisation of this two-day training designed especially for Georgian state servants and state entities.
H.E. Tea Tsulukiani, Minister of Justice in Georgia, and Mrs Blair gave welcome speeches to participants.
Along with Mrs Blair, the training was delivered by well-known lawyers in international dispute resolution matters: Mr James Palmer of Omnia Strategy; Ms Mahnaz Malik from 20 Essex Street / Counsel of Omnia Strategy; Mr Zannis Mavrogordato from 20 Essex Street / Counsel of Omnia Strategy / Of-counsel of Mgaloblishvili Kipiani Dzidziguri (MKD); and Mr Vakhtang Shevardnadze, Partner at Mgaloblishvili Kipiani Dzidziguri (MKD).
Summing up the results of the training, Mr Shevardnadze noted that ‘it was very effective and important for improving the knowledge of Government state servants in Georgia who are responsible for negotiating bilateral investment treaties and managing international disputes with foreign investors’.
